Aircraft history HK-3835X c/n 182 Caravelle, made its first flight on   July 30th 1964 and was delivered to Finnair as OH-LSB named   “Tampere” 5 days later. In February 1982 it was sold to Europe Aero   Service and leased to Air Charter International the same month. It returned   to EAS in September 1990 and flew for ZAS of Egypt on a leasing base from   October 15th 1990 to August 1991. It was sold to SERCA Colombia on April 30th   1993. It crashed on its delivery flight.
Accident description The Caravelle was on final approach to  Rochambeau Airport, Cayenne, French Guyana when the aircraft lost altitude at 100ft causing a hard landing. The gear collapsed and the aircraft broke in 3 parts.
