27th April 2014: All 288 switches and 88 warning lights on all 21 refurbished panels have been rewired and connected to the computer.  They can now be programmed to perform specific functions and interact with X-Plane flight simulator.

The sliding board which will be installed in the former RH avionic’s rack houses all the circuit boards required for the operation of the simulator. 3 of these boards are required.
– 1 for sitches and lights (now complete)
– 2 for magnetic indicators and gauges.

Focus is now set to the instrument gauges. Some will be purchased, others interfaced or converted with DC or stepper motors. This process will take at least 12-24 months.
