Below you will find a list of items/advise we need for the restoration / conversion. Also we are missing cabin items such as exit signs and carpets. Any parts or manual of potential interest for this project is highly welcome and will be rewarded. Please contact us here.

We are looking for flight manuals! Also the most important book ever written on the Caravelle: Pierre Dudal “SE210 – Technique de Pilotage” – even the “Musée d’Air France” do not have a copy, it is one of the rarest books in aviation.


voyantmagnetique Voyant Magnetique – Valve position incicators. They are almost impossible to find. 5% of F-BHRU no longer work. Who can repair / overhaul these?

part Caravelle III parts catalogue in pdf wanted. There are still spare parts available but we are unable to access it as we do not have the required part numbers.
These rivets where used on the glareshield. They are 7.2mm wide.
Air France used to paint their Caravelle instrument panels in a black matt colour with a kind of hammer finish. Where can one get this colour? Some panels do need a repaint.Answer: VHS wrinkle paint spray – any other idea?
Many small panel signs where attached using split rivets. Where to get exactly the same? See measurements on photo.
caravellebulb The panels had integral lightning. Due to severe corrosion some of the light cannot be removed without destroying them. Where to get these lights?
After MONTHS of research I got help from customer service at Gables Engineering Inc.  They were refered to as T1 3/4 type lamp holders. These lights are still manufactured by Dialight.Dialight 271-0111
Colour code of Air Frane scheme in 1960. To repaint the fuselage in its original colour scheme we need the exact colour code.

    That the guy who sent me the maintenance manual in 14 volumes in .pdf for the models starting
    model I up to R.

    Are you still looking for the colour code for the 1960 Air France scheme? If so there’s a painting diagram at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Le Bourget’s “centre de documentation”. Ask them to dig it out for you.
